AlphaTrends Review: What Trading Style?
Alphatrends specializes in swing trades that can be customized to cater to individual objectives. They provide trade ideas as guidelines, but you are the expert when it comes to deciding what is best for your own trading goals.
This allows users maximum control over their investments while still utilizing Alphatrends expertise and resources.
His approach really resonated with me. He’s more of a mentor than a ‘signal caller’. Certainly, he divulges trades but I found the real value in his market reviews and analysis.
Surprisingly, his approach appears to be based solely on trending lines. Even more surprising is that only horizontal resistance/support lines were mentioned with no allusion to diagonal support/resistance levels – which I find equally as crucial.

He goes through some swing trade ideas that are open and where he might be long or where they have taken profits etc. The forums can be used to discuss these ideas further.

Conclusions
Brian Shannon puts the markets in context better than anyone I know, and his expertise as both a trader and business man has been an invaluable asset.
He may not have a flashy website or social media presence; however, this doesn’t detract from the fact that he is one of the most knowledgeable people out there when it comes to trading and understanding market conditions.
