What Is Options Bandits?

Options Bandits is an options alerts service that provides traders with pre-market trade ideas for options trades.

There isn’t any real-time signals and the educational content appears to be a bunch of links to other people’s YouTube videos….

I’ve been a member for a few weeks now and I thought I’d throw together and overview of my experiences for anyone considering signing up.

Options Bandits: Price?

Options Bandits is a subscription service and the price is a fixed $199 one-time payment. They claim this is a limited time discount but it’s been the same for at least 6 months now.

This is a decent value for what you get in my opinion.

What Do You Get? Example Trades

It’s important to note that these trade ideas are not signals, but suggestions for trades with stop-losses, target prices, and other related information.

The trades that are suggested in the Options Bandits alerts are usually relatively low-risk, but with high potential upside if done correctly.

I’ve made money on a few of these options trades but I also had some losses as well. The same can be said for most services though.

Trade Ideas Example

Here is an example of the morning pre-market (or soon after market open) trade ideas.

This is all you get on a daily basis via Telegram.

No real-time buy/sell or anything like that – just these level ideas and which contracts to take. They don’t seem to give profit targets either…..just a stop loss of max 30%.

They tell you that if the stock breaks above (or below) the key price in the alert then you should take the position. This is based on a 1 minute chart and all of these are day trades.

Some of these trades triggered entries….but the trade management once an entry is triggered is entirely up to you. No guidance. This is an important part of trading, right?

This lack of trade management guidance is probably my biggest issue with the Options Bandits service. This alerts review gives some more example trades from them and shows in more detail what happened after they triggered etc.

Are Options Bandits Legit?

Despite the shady sounding name…..Options Bandits does appear to be a legitimate service, as long as you don’t expect to get rich quick.

Options Bandits Scam or Legit: Conclusions

Overall, I’ve found Options Bandits to be an ok service that provides some educational content and options trade ideas. It’s definitely not a “get-rich-quick” scheme or anything like that, so if you’re expecting huge gains overnight then this isn’t the service for you.

However, if you’re looking for some ideas to get started trading options and don’t mind a little bit of risk then Options Bandits can provide some useful information. Just remember to do your own research and never risk more than you can afford to lose!
